About Us
We are a family including myself and my husband, Michael, our two boys, Josh and Sam and our two Goldie girls, Beth and her daughter Rose.
We live in the village of Bolton le Sands, a short distance from the beautiful Lake District, where we take regular walks with our girls.
My husband works on the railways and both our dogs are enthusiastic rail passengers! First and foremost our dogs are our much loved family pets and they live in the home with us, sharing our lives. We are not commercial breeders and Beth only had her first litter as we wanted to add another Golden to our family. She is such a wonderful dog, with a fantastic temperament; we just wanted to have another like her! We enjoyed the experience so much, and Beth was a fantastic Mummy to her babies that we have decided to have a second litter from Beth.
Our puppies are born and carefully reared in the home and are accustomed to the general sounds of a busy family household.
We kept Rose from Beth’s first litter and she has proven to have a wonderful temperament and stunning good looks and has been a fantastic addition to our family.
We enjoy keeping in touch with all the owners of Bechanted babies and have enjoyed taking walks with them and their new owners. We love to receive pictures of them too and hear all their recent news. We enjoy hearing about all their achievements, from achieving Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards to playing with the horses in the stables. Beth’s puppies are our babies and are only available to loving, permanent homes, in which we feel assured that they will be treasured and cherished for life.
I grew up with Labradors but always wanted a Golden Retriever, so once we had our children and they were at a good age we decided to start looking for our new addition. We spent quite some time looking and visited a few breeders, until we found the one for us. Doe (Beth’s mum) was a lovely girl and we knew the family would be rearing the puppies indoors and they would be well socialised. Beth has a wonderful temperament, very much like her mum, a trait she has also passed on to her daughter, Rose.
